~ pretty in pink ~

I finished this purse yesterday.  I crocheted it with 1 strand of RHSS 'melonberry' and 2 strands Lion Brand Baby Soft 'bubble gum' with an L hook.  If I remember correctly, I bought the handles from Joann Fabrics.  I'm not too sure about the bow - do you think it's too much?  :)

P.S.  Please excuse the mess on the table.

  2. NO WAY! Not too much at all. I don't think I'd like it near as much without it! It's beautiful! Did you line the inside? Nosey aren't I! lol

  3. Thank you ladies. :)

Nicole - no, I didn't line it - I always have trouble doing that. The crocheting is solid so there's no problem of anything falling out. The pattern is a very basic one - but I can write it up for you if you'd like. :)

  4. Thank you Ms Debi, I would love to try to this bag..two reasons..I've never made one that you had to put handles on..AND I've NEVER lined one myself :) So I figured this one was smaller then the normal ones I do, might make it easier for me. IF you have time, no rush ( you know I have tons on the go)
Honestly, if you have trouble with lining that doesn't leave much hope for me :)

  6. It is very pretty. About the bow, is the person who will use it into a more tailored look or girlie-look?

  9. Thanks ladies. :)

Sharon Marie - the purse is for me - I'm girly, but not too girly. I think I'll just have to carry it around a couple of times to see how I like it. :)

    Bev - you're so funny. :)
