Fka: Dly's Hooks and Yarns
Lovely hats!!Those flowers on the pin are very nice and it was nice to see you modelling the poncho :)
Great Halloween pictures, Debi :-) Glad it went well. I love the little motifs you're making; that'll be a cute blanket. Thanks for the tip on working with boucle yarn. I'll have to try that. You look very nice in your poncho. I hope it softens up for you. And I look forward to seeing your finished slipper socks. I love the ones I wear in the winter. Take care :-)
Interesting video Debi I enjoyed al your random things. It seemed funny to be driving along on the right hand side of the road. Your halloween pictures were very scary and those little hats are cute. Love the poncho, I'm sure it will be nice and soft once it's washed and had a rinse in fabric conditioner, looking forward to seeing the new one when it's done and the baby blanket and slippers. have a lovely evening. :) xx
Clever idea to use a ww to do the chain when working with homespun and boucle.
I always enjoy your videos Debi but am a bit exhausted after this one. I couldn't take my eyes off the road !! LOL Here in Australia, we drive on the left hand side of the road and as you were driving along, it was really weird for me. What a great tip for the chain when using boucle yarn - will remember this for sure. Also loved your poncho - you looked good in the blue one - will look forward to seeing the one you're currently working on. I haven't tried this, but have heard lots of people say they put dots of puffy paint on the bottom of slippers to make them non-slip. Do you have puffy paint over there. You get it from craft shops here. Those little motifs look lovely - will you be putting a granny type edge around them before joining them together? The blanket should look really pretty. xox
Thanks Dorothy. I'll check into the puff paint - I know we used to have it, but I haven't seen it in a while. I'm going to use the flat braid method to join the circles together. :)
Pretty hats. X
I forgot to ask: where do you buy the large safety pins? I love your idea of storing motifs on them. Thanks!
Hi Kate. I bought them from Etsy. I can't remember the seller's name, but if you do a search, they will probably come up. :)
Thanks, Debi :-)
'Loved driving along with you, Debi! The motifs you are working on are precious.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a message - it always puts a smile on my face. If you have a question - post it here and check back - I will always answer you. :)
